Community and Economic Development

The economic development programs include a workers center, training programs and small business development.

Adult ESOL

Speak and write in English to use at home, in the community, or at work with CASA’s ESOL classes. Learn from home using Zoom. Adults ages 18 years and older of ALL levels are welcome!

Citizenship

CASA’s comprehensive citizenship initiative includes citizenship education, mentoring and interview preparation, application assistance, and post-naturalization support.

Legal Services

CASA provides a variety of legal services for low-income immigrants in housing, employment and immigration matters.

Vocational Training

CASA partners with local community colleges such as Prince George’s Community College and Montgomery College to offer a range of vocational training courses.

Health and Human Services

CASA provides case management assistance to connect members with social services in the community aimed at improving their physical and mental health and increasing social stability.

Community Organizing

CASA conducts widespread regional outreach and organizes its members into local committees that develop individual and collective leadership to fight for social justice and human rights.

Financial Education

CASA operates an integrated program of financial literacy, naturalization, and legal services.

Youth Leadership Development

Mi Espacio is an after school leadership and enrichment at CASA for immigrant high school students in Baltimore City and soon in Langley Park.

AmeriCorps

CASA is honored to receive funding from the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) to implement a series of programs in Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania.

Legal Services

CASA provides our members with free remote immigration legal consultations in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Georgia. In addition to individual immigration legal consultations, CASA’s legal team supports our members in defending their rights through mass education sessions, advocacy, and impact litigation.
