PENNSYLVANIA

Since 2016, CASA members have been advocating for just policies for immigrants and Latino communities in Pennsylvania. With a growing presence in central and southeast Pennsylvania, CASA has uplifted and leveraged the voices of Pennsylvania’s immigrant and Latino communities in order to enact meaningful policy alongside our organizational partners, such as the policy limiting the state police from flagging undocumented immigrants to ICE in 2019 and the moratorium on evictions in 2020. In 2021, CASA will uplift Pennsylvania’s immigrant and Latino voices and advocate for drivers licenses for all, tuition equity, raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour, climate justice and continued COVID-19 relief and assistance.
