Youth Leadership Development Programs
CASA’s Youth Engagement and Leadership programs include Mi Espacio, Escalera and SPIRIT programs, after-school and in-school programs for immigrant and first-generation middle and high school students in Prince William and Fairfax county. Our programs strive to build the next generation of immigrant and first generation youth leaders by combining academic support, college and career readiness, civic leadership development and social justice training focused on making changes to their own communities.

“Mi Espacio” is an afterschool program that supports Latino and first-generation high school students by fostering a nurturing environment for leadership development. The program enhances students’ confidence, skills, and knowledge essential for high school graduation and post-secondary success.
Offering a comprehensive curriculum, “Mi Espacio” includes academic instruction, ESOL, college and career preparation, health and wellness workshops, financial education, professional development, and mentoring.
