CASA member Fanny and her community live in a constant fear that any instance of heavy rainfall will cause the river near their home to overflow and leave behind irreparable damage.
This river divides the cities of Norristown and Bridgeport in Pennsylvania. During her time in the area, Fanny has encountered the overflow 0f the river on three separate occasions.
The overflow has led to flooding of nearby homes and businesses, leaving many of its working class residents in economic distress.
Fanny hopes for funding and community education so that everyone understands their own impact and learns what they can do to help.
