Viviana Lozano serves as CASA’s Lead Organizer for Central Maryland. She oversees the team of organizers who identify and foster grassroots leadership. She recruits members into the organization, conducts local meetings, mobilizes members for actions, and performs a variety of other tasks to build grassroots power. She arrived to the U.S. July 20, 2004, the same day as the Independence Day of her home country Colombia. She has been a CASA member and volunteer for years. She is proud to belong to this organization and now to work in it. She is happy to serve the community at CASA to continue working with my immigrant community, and that by fighting together we can achieve immigration reform.
