As Immigrant Integration Programs Manager in Baltimore, LeAnna works to build power and improve the quality of life for working class and immigrant community members. She was raised in San Bernardino and El Centro, California and earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley. She went on to study Literature and Economics at the University of Havana in Cuba and supported the development of small businesses in Luyano, Havana. LeAnna joined CASA in 2019 as an ESOL teacher and most recently served as Research and Policy Analyst for CASA in Baltimore, uplifting the voices of Black and Latino community members in the fight for police reform during the 2022 legislative session.
