Since its establishment in 2010, the Affordable Care Act has allowed for 28 million people across the country to gain access to affordable care. Unfortunately, undocumented immigrants are not ineligible for care through this program, including more than 275,000 undocumented immigrants here in Maryland. The Access to Care Act would change that by ensuring ALL income-eligible Marylanders can purchase coverage through the exchange, regardless of status.
