VOTE

Make Your Voice Heard

As the people in our nation struggle to pay rent and keep their families safe and healthy, our democratic election process is more important than ever. It is critical that every eligible voter is able to cast their ballot during this election safely and securely and that every vote is counted.

What's the difference between a general election and a primary election?

A general election is the process by which candidates are elected to office. As opposed to a primary, which is where the pool of candidates is whittled down, a general election actually puts candidates into office. Usually, candidates in a general election are those that were chosen in the preceding primary. General elections are held at the local, state, and federal levels.
