Earlier this month, the Department of Homeland Security announced that Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Nicaraguans will be terminated in a year, and that TPS for Hondurans will be extended for only six months while the administration makes a final decision about recipients’ fate.

Please save the date for December 6th, when we will be holding a mass action in D.C. as we fight to #SaveTPS and ensure the passage of a #CleanDREAMAct.

Yesterday, Senators Cardin and Van Hollen, along with Senator Feinstsein of California, introduced the SECURE Act, which will allow TPS recipients to apply for legal permanent residency. If you can’t join us in person, we hope you will join us on social media and on the phone lines, contacting your elected officials in support of the SECURE Act and in support of a clean DREAM Act.

Can we count on you to join us on December 6 and demand Congress pass a clean DREAM Act and save TPS?

We will have more details soon.
