Request for Proposals (RFP):Structured Wiring, Access Control (Brivo), and Video Surveillance (Brivo) Services

Introduction

CASA, a dynamic and community-driven organization, is dedicated to fostering a more just society by empowering and enhancing the quality of life for working-class Black, Latino/a/e, Afro-descendent, Indigenous, and Immigrant communities. 

We invite qualified vendors to submit proposals to address our security needs, including structured wiring, access control systems (Brivo), and video surveillance systems (Brivo).

To install a new Access Control System (ACS) and Video Surveillance System (VSS) per CASA’s Woodbridge Facility Technology Infrastructure Plan (see attached documents).
  • System Requirements:
    • Flexibility: Recommended components should allow for future expansion and be upgradeable or swappable without mass replacements or fragmented control.
    • Ease of Use: Systems should be user-friendly for both administrators and users, offering straightforward access management.
    • Compatibility: Preference for Brivo systems to integrate seamlessly with existing card, user, and site management databases.
    • Integration: Systems should be added as a new site to CASA’s existing Brivo OnAir/Access unified cloud system.
  • Attachments: Refer to documents below for detailed technology plans, floorplans, and structured wiring specifications.

Qualified Contractors

The purpose of this RFP is to select a contractor who will comply with regulations and industry standards for CASA’s new facility. Contractors must provide full service promptly to meet deadlines and construction schedules.

To submit a proposal, contractors must be licensed in Virginia and comply with CASA’s insurance requirements. The selected contractor will work with CASA staff, other technical contractors, and the project or construction manager to ensure timely and professional project completion.

Submission Deadline

All proposals must be submitted by Friday, September 20, 2024. Late submissions will not be considered.

Our organization will review all proposals and select the most qualified contractor based on experience, technical expertise, system compatibility, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with our mission and values. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview or presentation.
