CASA Free Tax Program At a Glance

Prepare your Federal and State income tax.

Help you get your refund by check or direct deposit, based on your preference. We can help you open a bank account so you can get a direct deposit, and get your refund without paying commissions and interests.

Provide guidance to claim your stimulus payments when you are eligible and have not yet received it.

File for a new ITIN so you can start paying income taxes.

Renew your ITIN if yours is already expired.

Improve your financial knowledge, so you can increase your credit score, and prepare a household budget to save money.

Eligibility

This service is available for all households that made lower than $64,000 and live in Maryland, regardless of the City or County of residence.

What to Bring to a Tax Appointment

Photo Identification
Social Security Card/ITIN Document

Copy of 2023 Return
W2, 1099s, and all other income documentation
Birthdates of all those listed on the return
*ALL adults listed must be present to sign the return, all dependents must present original social security card

If self-employed bring all expenses and income information (including cash)
Child Care Info: tax ID number, provider, address
Bank account number and bank routing number (or a voided check)
Information about money received by IRS or state from the previous year
Any other tax related documentation you have received
