Samuel Haberman

Citizenship Coordinator Samuel Haberman began teaching himself Spanish around 2015 with the goal of working with the Spanish speaking community in Maryland. Samuel then had the opportunity to serve with CASA as an AmeriCorps immigrant integration specialist. Samuel says this is an experience he found greatly rewarding. After working for some time at an immigration law firm, he returned to CASA as the citizenship coordinator for Maryland. His work with CASA has fueled his passion for serving the immigrant community, and he says he is glad for every opportunity to further CASA’s mission to advocate for and expand opportunities for immigrants in Maryland and the United States as a whole.
