Marvin Hernandez Rivas

Civic Engagement and Election Specialist for CASA in Action Marvin Hernandez Rivas has over a decade of experience in grassroots organizing. In addition, Marvin is also a member of the Consejo Ciudadano de Salvadore’os en El Exterior (CCSALEX). Before joining CASA in Action, Marvin was a union organizer with Laborers’ International Union of North America (LiUNA) where he helped organize a 500 person workshop in Pennsylvania. Marvin has also worked as a community organizer with The National TPS Alliance and Make the Road Pennsylvania. In his native El Salvador, Marvin was a community organizer with the Exchange and Solidarity Center and worked in youth leadership development.
