Jacob Kmiech, Esq.

Staff Attorney/ Equal Justice Work Fellow

Jacob Kmiech is a staff attorney, and Equal Justice Works fellow on CASA’s Housing team, and joins CASA’s fight for the representation and fair
treatment of all Marylanders facing eviction. Jake received his J.D. from William & Mary Law School, where he was a member of his school’s Domestic Violence Clinic, Graduate Council Marketing Chair, Vice President of his school’s Graduate Complex Community Council, and employed by his school’s law library. Jake also interned in the areas of immigration law, international law, and crime victim rights advocacy. Before law school, Jake worked several odd jobs and graduated with a B.A. from Gustavus Adolphus College, where he studied History, English, and Scandinavian Studies. He is also an Eagle Scout. Jake has a working knowledge of Spanish and can speak some German and Swedish.
