Gage joined CASA’s development team in 2022 and has a background in international student recruitment and admissions, citizenship preparation for refugees, and animal welfare. She has experience with donor stewardship, nonprofit program development and management, community outreach, and volunteer management. Her educational background includes a master’s degree in Latin American Studies and academic research experience with nonprofit organizations in the Dominican Republic regarding attitudes and perceptions of street dogs and cats and pet ownership. She is passionate about immigrant and working-class advocacy and equity. She is grateful to have the opportunity to assist with fundraising efforts to elevate the voices and interests of CASA members. Her role focuses on raising federal resources for CASA’s programs as well as managing and raising funds for CASA’s capital projects.
