Franco Cabrera is CASA’s Education Program Specialist. A testament to CASA’s investment in professional development, he has worked his way up the CASA ladder—starting out as an intern in CASA’s Communications Department before being promoted to Communications and Politics Assistant. As Education Program Specialist he currently oversees the Familias Activas program while working with CASA’s ESOL and Mi Espacio Programs. He is also a trained bilingual youth and adolescent psychiatric rehabilitation coordinator. He graduated from UMBC with a major in Political Science and was the founder of the Latino Student Union at the Shady Grove Campus.
