FALLS CHURCH, VIRGINIA – Immigrant advocacy organization CASA and the Coalition for Smarter Growth will host a press conference and canvass kickoff as part of the Bailey’s Crossroads street safety campaign, focused on repairing this highly-transited road for the safety of the residents in the area. Residents report that many accidents have occurred because of a lack of lighting, signals, and pedestrian crossing.

  • Press conference sharing stories of pedestrians affected by lack of street safety 
  • Canvass kickoff ahead of canvassers collecting community surveys on doors

MORE: The press conference features local Culmore residents sharing their pedestrian, driving, transit, and cycling experiences around Leesburg Pike and Columbia Pike. Then, canvassers will head out to knock on doors to listen to the community members’ experiences and ask residents to join the fight to better their community’s conditions and safety.
