Legal in Maryland

CASA provides a variety of legal services for low-income immigrants who are experiencing housing, employment and immigration-related issues.

Legal Consultations

For information about legal consultations, please call 1-866-765-2272 and a member of CASA’s legal department will return your call.

Members are eligible for free consultations on issues related to immigration, employment or housing. These consultations will be conducted through either in-person or remote (telephone or video) intakes. CASA does not guarantee that we will be able to provide individual representation to members after the consultation, but we will make every effort to provide an appropriate referral in cases we are unable to take on for full representation.

CASA can also provide referrals to our members on a variety of other topics (including family law, criminal law, education law and other areas).

In addition to our legal consultations, CASA aids in the legal defense of our members through mass education (Know Your Rights) sessions, advocacy, individual representation, and impact litigation.

DACA

If you need to renew your DACA, would like to apply for DACA for the first time, or have questions regarding the DACA program, please call Emily Sullivan at 240-491-5764 to make an appointment. If we are unable to answer the phone, please leave a detailed message with your name, phone number and any relevant case details and we will get back to you.
