Laurel, MD – As concerns over housing in Maryland continue to grow, the urgency to begin protecting Marylanders against gentrification and skyrocketing rent hikes. 

Amidst unfair rent price gouging and unsafe living conditions in the city of Laurel, local tenants will rally outside the Laurel Municipal Office to urge the Laurel City Council to pass an immediate rent stabilization bill. 

Local Laurel tenants will share their testimony of their experiences with their landlords during the press conference.
