Advocates Line Up in Tents to Protest Impending Homelessness Crisis Once Evictions Resume

HARRISBURG, PA – Immigrant advocacy organization CASA and other orgs will host a demonstration and rally featuring individuals facing eviction before evictions resume August 31. Affected community members and allies will line up in front of Governor Wolf in tents and sleeping bags to ask the governor to extend the eviction freeze until 90 days after the emergency declaration is lifted or through the end of the year.
