CASA’s AmeriCorps Program in Georgia

CASA launched the program in Georgia in 2024 after receiving the planning grant in 2022, thank to the support of GA Service. The Program offers economic opportunity and job readiness services to low-income Georgians.

On the economic opportunity side, CASA provides one-on-one and group-based financial education activities focused on preparing a household budget, credit management, and banking. For job readiness, CASA provides one-on-one counseling helping individuals to prepare their resume, learn how to apply for jobs, and how to perform a successful job interview. CASA also organizes workshops and job fairs.

AmeriCorps members are based on CASA’s office in Georgia.
