CASA’s Americorps Program in Virginia
CASA launched its Virginia program in 2016, thanks to the support of the Virginia Office on Volunteerism and Community Service. To maximize economic opportunities, CASA provides one-on-one and group-based financial education activities focused on preparing a household budget, credit management, and banking. CASA also helps eligible Lawful Permanent Residents apply for American citizenship. The Program also supports High School students to improve their academic performance, develop leadership and social skills, and pursue higher education.
AmeriCorps members are based at CASA’s Woodbridge Office.
