Support English Learner Schools in Prince George’s County

Help ensure funding for our extraordinary English Language Learners in Prince George’s County!

In 2014, English Language Learner students (ELL) had a 55.5% graduation rate compared to 78.6% and 81.9% for African American and White students, respectively.

In Prince George’s County all our students can climb the ladder of success and proven models from around the country have shown that when you focus in on the specific needs of English Language Learners, they achieve great progress.  The current school budget includes funding for two schools to better educate English Language Learners.  It is the first step forward and I urge you to support the schools. An investment in students does right by all of Prince George’s County.
