Undocumented Parents call on Obama to Fight for Families

As the President Considers the Parameters of Administrative Relief, Parents Say, Me Too, Mr. President

What: Press Conference featuring undocumented parents and their children

When: Wednesday, July 16th, at 3:30 pm

Where: White House sidewalk, Pennsylvania and 16th NW

At a press conference this Wednesday, undocumented families will call on the President to legalize parents as a cornerstone of administrative relief. As the White House draws closer to finalizing its plan for administrative relief, undocumented parents will gather to say, “Me Too, Mr. President; Fight for our Families.”  The event coincides with a meeting between the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and the president to discuss priorities for relief.

The press conference will feature a variety of parents from across the region. All the speakers are leaders in their community, fighting for relief for their families and many more. Parents will join with dozens more this Thursday, supported by a crowd of hundreds, to press on the White House to Fight for their Families.

At Wednesday’s press conference, directly impacted immigrants will be available for interview.
