Bmore United Coalition Gathers to Cheer on State’s Attorney Mosby, then March to City Hall to Demand

Systemic Change

 

Where:      March Starts from State’s Attorney’s Headquarters, 120 E. Baltimore Street, and marches through downtown to City Hall

When:       Today, May 1, March Initiates at 3pm, Rally at 4pm

Who:         Bmore United Coalition including supporting organizations Algebra Project, American Friends Service Committee Peace by Piece Project, CASA, Council on American Islamic Relations, Jews United for Justice, Leaders of a Beautiful Struggle, Pleasant Hope Baptist Church, Repair the World, SEIU 32BJ, 1199 SEIU, and many more

 

Baltimore, MD –  –  This Friday, organizations involved in the battle for

police accountability will gather to show the nation and the world that the people of Baltimore stand with Marilyn Mosby is seeking justice, then march to City Hall where they will demand systemic reforms to ensure that all bad cops are held responsible for unlawful acts..

 

The rally, held on a historic day of protest in the United States and across the world, will bring together hundreds of Baltimore youth and activists to march and rally for justice. It is hosted by Bmore United, a new citywide coalition of grassroots organizations working to address systemic inequality through grassroots organizing, leadership development, and advocacy.
