CASA Commends Annapolis City Council for Commitment to Serve Latinos

BALTIMORE (June 21) _ CASA applauds the Annapolis City Council for the creation of a Hispanic liaison position within the city government.

The position will allow Spanish-speaking residents to access city services in health care, education and job opportunities. There are close to 16 percent Hispanic or Latino residents in Annapolis that will benefit from this initiative.

CASA represents over 1000 members in the city of Annapolis and looks forward to working with the mayor and city council to ensure robust civic engagement and access to city services by Latino and immigrant residents.
