People scheduled for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) check-ins are at risk for being taken into custody and deported. We believe that the presence of faith leaders, congregants, and allies at these check-ins can lead to a better outcome.
We will be holding vigil at the Fairfax ICE office for Liliana, who is scheduled for her check-in on May 18, in the morning. We will stand in solidarity outside, as a few clergy accompany her to the appointment.
If you can join us, please register. And please encourage others to participate as well.
May 18 8:00 a.m.
2675 Prosperity Ave., Fairfax, VA 20598
We will meet just outside the ICE office
