CJSJ in collaboration with the Urban Studies and Criminal Justice department invite Baltimore residents to a public community town hall to continue fighting for police accountability and reform
During the town hall, community members will have the opportunity to meet and question individuals who applied to serve as independent monitors of the consent decree between the US Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Baltimore Police Department (BPD).
Monitors who are selected will be tasked with the role of making sure every provision in the agreement between DOJ and BPD is carried out
This is an opportunity for Baltimore residents to get to know those who applied for the monitor position, and have their voices heard before a judge makes the final selection
Join us, and continue to be part of the movement
